In 2020 Tamara Dean was invited to open a new gallery—Ngununggula. After a year of bushfire and floods it was a chance to focus on something positive. A global pandemic then blocked her access to locations and models. So, Dean made the decision to turn the camera on herself. An Artist Responds is a film about an artist turning her lens inward finding resilience and hope.
